Featured Artist : Deniz Seki

As of now I only have one of Deniz Seki's CDs, but I'm looking forward to getting some more. Her voice is strong, fresh, energetic and playful, and makes her songs fun to listen and sing along to.

I was introduced to Deniz Seki through her album Aşkların En Güzeli, which I would highly recommend. It consists of Turkish songs from the 1960's and 1970's modernized and sung by Deniz Seki. There are some great songs on it, although I haven't heard the originals so I can't quite compare the two versions. Deniz Seki has a very beautiful voice, and the songs aren't distorted with an overwhelming amount of techno, which is always a plus.
